CJ Occupation: Fast Food - USA Not my boss, but my boss's "boss" - the regional lady who comes in to check that our franchise (a sub shop) follows the regulations of the national fast food chain. She isn't a health inspector; she used to own her own sub shop but it went bankrupt, so now she goes around telling people how to "improve" their own successful shops. Ironic, huh? A week earlier, we'd had a health inspection. It went well except the meatballs were a few degrees too cold - so we turned them up to the required temp. The lady came in and told us they were too hot (even though they were regulation temperature). She went on to criticise that we were putting meat on the BOTTOM of the sub roll instead of the TOP, and that we were cutting the rolls wrong, etc etc. (Excuse me, but we make 3 or more subs PER MINUTE during lunch hour, and no one complains about these things except you.) She complained that the light bulbs in the dining room were not all the right brightness level and they should all be replaced at the same time - something I never noticed. She complained that, when we take off our gloves (when they get mayonnaise on them) and put on new ones, we don't wash our hands between - even though we don't touch anything, and there are 20 people in line. Our sub shop pulls in thousand of dollars a day, and people compliment us on o! ur friendliness and careful food preparation - I think we're doing something right, but it seems we're always dealing with horrifically nitpicky warnings from Subway because of her. darren w Occupation: office worker united kingdom I worked for an furniture foam fabrication company for about 5 years and for the 1st 3 years I did between 3-4 different jobs at the same time & had to run from building to building to complete each job, and while i was doing one job my supervisor would shout at me for not doing the other jobs.one of the jobs was filling a machine with scrap foam, at the same time a person would be puping the crumb foam out of it 5 times faster than it went in. so even with 3 people it was a struggle. but 3 people were only put on the machine when my supervisor wanted much more work that day, the reason for this was that he was stealing work and he was later fired. anyway after a while more people were hired and i ended up getting a job in the office.I worked there for another 2 years and was promised a pay increase but that never happened.I ended up being paid less than everyone else in the factory of about 60 people. my conclusion to this was that my boss was a bastard as i never refused any job & was treated like shit. i am now unemployed and trust no employer. and never will again i will go hungry & stay poor. another job i had was dipping metal vending machines in acid to remove the paint & was ordered to stand on a cage to keep it straight while being dipped into the acid. the roof had holes in it and snow would fall down inside. that place eventually closed because someone was bitten by a rat! health & safety is rare in the uk. the health & safety people tell the employers when they are comming so everyone spends the day cleaning up & removing work from the fire exits. im shocked that more people dont die at work! ive had about 15 jobs and 2-3 were safe jobs. the rest were run by people who are greedy cunts with zero respect for others well being & safety! Lewis Occupation: Mortgage-USA My boss switched me twice to different positions before I was even hired on for full time,(I was with a Temp agency.) because the Supervisor said I was not doing my job. I asked why the supervisors insisted I was doing a great job when I asked. He said, I was misinformed. So when he moved me, he said I was doing a great job at my new position, and my new supervisor doesn't know why anyone else would say I am doing a bad job.They hired me on full time and I told them a way they could save over a million dollars a year. They listened and said if they were to do it, they would make me a supervisor. I was ecstatic. But not for long, my current supervisor started to complain about me and was saying my work is not getting done. I said how is that possible if there is no work on my desk? The boss called me in and said that I must finish all my work. I said there is nothing on my desk and that I don't know why she is saying this. Two days later my Supervisor came back from a day off. She then proceeded to give FOUR days of work that she had on her desk and did not bother to give to me until she came back, so I had Four days worth of work on top of that days work, now each day I have about 50-75 work assignments I have to re-assign, but multiply that by five, plus SEVEN other tasks I have to do, and it is overwhelming. My Boss called me in the day after and said that my idea was good, but there is no room to make me a supervisor and give an assistant. The day after they said if I don't get my work done, I am in jeopardy of being written up. I said I am doing work that is almost a week and a half old, and that my Supervisor did not give me it until she felt like it. They said they didn't believe me, I showed them the work but they had no time to look. SO they switched me again. I was moved to a lower position and I was written twice in two weeks for not catching on to my new job, (you are supposed to b! e given three months to fully train, they gave me two days.) Then they used my idea with two new people they hired. Well to tell you the truth that was the last straw I quit that Dumb company and work for myself now. I will never treat my employees like they treat!!!!	Tosser rating 10/10
Jake Occupation: Info Tech - Orange County, CA USA My boss gives me critical assignments regarding systems security and communications that require much research and often working with technicians from other companies. He constantly asks me "What's the status". Upon completion and without fail he goes behind my back, corrupts my work, tests it in front of his boss and myself and says "It doesn't work, sorry boss I'm only good as the guy that works for me". Chuck Occupation: Medical Processer Tech. I became hurt at my job and lost the use of my right arm. Because I file workmen's com I lost my job. They were bold in telling me that They are sending me home because I file workmen's com. Now I only getting 40% of my pay and I can't pay my bills. What assholes. ChronoBry Occupation: Computer Tech-USA I have been working in a school district now for three years. With the amount of turnover in my area, I am the most senior tech here. This previous year, my boss who has been here for almost 15 years was "asked to leave" or "forced out." Only, to be replaced by a Visual Arts teacher who teaches graphic design to high school students. Now keep in mind that she has no prior experience with running a technology department or heading a department of any sort. Nor does she know anything about PC's since graphic design is all done on Macs. So she comes into the office and begins to change everything around, wants everything clean...and in alphabetical and categorical order. I literally had to clean out a storage space which was full of computer material from the 80's and alphabatize a hundred magazines. And then, I had to organize software on shelves in alphabetical order and label the shelves as to what was on them. She is insane. Her motto is "Do Art, Be Art, Live Art! ." She has a tattoo of a triangle and square on each wrist because they are the basic shapes of art. She does yoga. She doesnt put any impurities in her body, such as sugar. Now mind you, this is my third year being a tech, I am the most senior one here besides the secretary, and I'm alphabatizing magazines. My boss is a complete tosser.	Tosser rating 10/10

ANDY Occupation: CIVIL SERVANT BELGIUM My boss arrived after a business trip last Friday, just in time to tell me he had decided to cancel my holidays (which I was supposed to start today) Needless to say, he does not give a sh.. about my air ticket to Spain or the hotel reservation or the car rental reservation and so on... Worst thing is, even though he had approved my holiday plan for the year, he is entitled to cancel holidays based on "service needs". Is there an easy way to kill him and get rid of the body? bamaman Occupation: valve technician We'll, my boss happens to be the most money hungry person on the planet,we'll this might be because his brother is the owner of regional valve.But his brother decided to open an office here locally and let his brother,(Which was fired from the phone company),run the place.The only problem is he didn't know anything about anything. But anyway,now he's hired his son which guess what doesn't know anything either,at 3.50 more an hour than I make, and to of his sons friends at.50 more an hour. So the lead technician calls him up one day and explains that I'm very unhappy with this situation,and I have full support from the lead tech,hmm but hes not in the family chain,so why listen to him,hes just been a valve tech for over 20 years.Lets face it I've been working there now for 2 years and these people come in because they were laid off at some steel mill,and get hired in over me because of there last name(family). And I'm starting to get some disrespect now from the boss.Example(There was a job to do in the field just the other day,it was scheduled for 8:00am,now I was at work at 7:30,and the boss man jumps me about how they've been waiting on me where have I been. Well I explained to him that I was left out of the loop about this job in the morning and had no Idea that I was the only capable of doing the,besides your got your son and the other guy sitting around doing nothing,why cant they go do it,his response to that,,well umm umm,because you need to. What a Crock of shit.I felt like punching him out right there on the spot. So any way I went and did the job,and the whole way to the plant I was thinking that there ought to be some type of favouritism suit or discrimination suit I could file.Anyway got to the plant and the job that was scheduled for 8:00 didnt start till 9:30.Meanwhile that gave me more time to think and I said why am I the one doing this making less money than the newbies.And It goes back to the point i made earlier(family).But why am I get shafted.What can I do.What rights do I have In a situation like this.Only thing I can come up with is to burn his damn house down. Psycho Occupation: Billing My boss(Snaggle-hose) and I have a discussion about one person in particular that I do not get along with. The only one I don't get along with as a matter of fact. Anyway, she tells me that she will take care of all the crap happening by this person revolving around me. Less then one week later, I found out the boss decided to put her desk right next to mine. Not only that, she faces me and looks at me all day long. When I asked my boss for a partition, she said there wasn't any available. There was a partition between two desks in her office at the time and only one desk was taken so she could have given me that one.	Tosser rating 10/10

When you`re off sick, he will ring you at home, just to make sure you really are ill and not shopping at the designer outlet village. He has already forced three people out of the company, due to his constant questioning of their every move through his deformed features. He doesn`t hate everyone, though - he`s desperate to shag the chinless slapper, Jayne W...... , who only flirts with him so she`ll get a pay rise. employee Occupation: Gov't PC Support - USE It's not just being denied dependent leave to care for my sick child (let your husband go do it) or denied bereavement leave(you can go to the funeral but not the wake, but also many other things like "going onsite was discretionary" after sending a memo that an onsite visit was mandatory and knowing I have had a handicap that accommodations have been made for and couldn't do a particular activity and then assigning that activity to me.
